Initial training of our puppy chocolate Labrador Louis has been very successful and made much easier with training in our own home so that not only his true 'home' behaviour but us as a family can be observed. Suzanne's manner is very relaxed with a firm but fair approach and her primary task is to educate the owners to understand dog behaviour which in turn makes training so much easier. As a first time dog owner I called Suzanne and asked her for advise about training my new 14 week old springer spaniel puppy Archie. Suzanne suggested her one to one training session where she comes to the house and talks you through the basics to training your puppy. She gave some fantastic top tips and advice. Suzanne took on our 8 months old German Shepherd Tilly who was a monster when it came to walking. She worked extremely well with her and Tilly loves Suzanne. It was great to know that Willow was being looked after by someone who clearly knows and understands dogs. Our rather nervous dog returned to us with more confidence and her behaviour has improved towards other dogs, which is a relief. I would certainly leave her with Suzanne again as she settled in well, so there was no need to feel guilty!

We recently bought a Border Collie pup, who is really beautiful, but with two small boys we were finding the training and dog handling quite difficult and as it was not entirely successful. The behavioural problems were beginning to set in and becoming difficult to handle.
After having had two previous trainers over the first three month period, we finally met Suzanne who we immediately took too, as it was very apparent that she loved dogs and had a natural and innate ability to understand them and we felt in safe hands.
Suzanne asked first to see the dog in his home environment and took detailed notes of his habits, eating, exercise program and watched how the family was with him. I must say that this was really helpful in identifying the issues.
As we had two small boys and many children visitors we felt that a two week residential stretch with Suzanne would be the best way to enforce training and add consistency. Ozzie was very happy with Paws Galore and we visited weekly to be given instruction and to be brought up with the commands and how to install them in the home
The difference in his behaviour and manners around the house is immense. Ozzie is now at home and continues to go to weekly crèche and the family has training sessions occasionally to carry on the great work and to enforce the behaviour now so that we can enjoy Ozzie at home over the coming years.
Without Suzanne's help , I think that we would have had to have looked at re-housing him because we couldn't handle him.........That's the best testimonial I can give.. I would highly recommend Suzanne to anyone with dog issues, She deals with them in a loving , caring and responsible way. Ozzie loves visiting her and her dogs!!....

I met Suzanne only a few weeks ago while out walking my 13 month old Weimaraner, Merlin. I thought to myself there's a lady who knows what she's doing having 5 or 6 dogs under her control. We got chatting and I told her of my few problems with Merlin. Suzanne came to my house the following week and after our first session there was an immediate improvement in Merlin's and mine relationship. Suzanne didn't put me under pressure but showed me how Merlin thinks and helped me to gain respect from him.
Our walks are now more enjoyable. I owe this to Suzanne but you have to listen to her and work hard at your training for it to come together.

- Hasn't jumped up any of our guests at home
- When walking is only attracted to other cdogs and not their owners - no jumping up people
- Ignoring bikes
We are perservering with the training using the whistle. Comes back most times
